The event, titled *“Expressing Scotland: Holding the Intangible – Archives, Culture & Connection”*, gathered just under 100 attendees, and marked five years of CAHG Scotland, bringing together archivists, researchers, and community heritage groups to explore how intangible cultural heritage is preserved and shared.  ### A Celebration of Living Heritage This year’s programme focused on the value of community archives in capturing Scotland’s living culture, from stories and traditions to music and shared experiences. Sessions explored topics such as theatre as a living archive, sensory approaches to heritage, and the evolving role of community-led storytelling. The variety and structure of the programme stood out, offering space for both reflection and collaboration. As exhibitors, we were pleased to connect with attendees throughout the day at our stand. It was a great opportunity to speak with organisations and individuals working across the heritage sector, share insights on digitisation, and discuss how archives can be made more accessible through platforms like PastView. The event also presented a great opportunity to share details about this years [TWA Digitisation Grant](https://www.townswebarchiving.com/digitisation-funding-grant/), offering 10 x £3,000 funding grants. Events like this reinforce the importance of collaboration across the sector, particularly as more organisations look to safeguard and share their collections digitally. ### A 1950s-Inspired Collaboration To celebrate CAHG Scotland’s five-year milestone, the organisers produced a special anniversary publication, designed in a vintage newspaper style. We were delighted to contribute with a 1950s-inspired advert, highlighting our 10th year of the TWA Digitisation Grant, alongside other creative submissions that embraced the theme. The publication was printed for the event and has now been preserved digitally as part of the organisation’s archive, ensuring it can continue to be shared and reused in the future.
