As part of our expansion into North America, we're excited to welcome Jordan Baron to the PastView team as he steps into the role of leading Development & Partnerships in the region.

Jordan brings over ten years of experience working at the intersection of technology, digitization, and information management. Throughout his career, he’s helped organizations grow by building strong partnerships and delivering innovative solutions – from SaaS platforms to large-scale digital transformation projects.

His background includes senior roles at Digital Divide Data, where he was Vice President of Global Business Development, as well as positions at Innovative Document Imaging and Knowledge Preservation. Jordan has worked with a broad range of industries – from legal and healthcare to publishing and cultural heritage – including collaborations with Fortune 500 companies and major institutions.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies from Florida Atlantic University, and has built up additional expertise in legal and project management. He’s also active in the wider records management community, currently serving as a Director at ARMA NJ and regularly speaking at industry events.

At PastView, Jordan’s focus will be on growing our presence in North America and supporting organizations, including museums, libraries, universities, and archives, as they bring their collections to life online. With his combined experience in digitization, SaaS, and AI-powered tools, he’s ideally placed to help heritage institutions transform access to their historical content.

“I’m excited to join PastView at a pivotal moment for the heritage sector,” says Jordan. “By combining innovative technology with strong partnerships, we have a real opportunity to unlock the full potential of archival collections and create digital experiences that inspire and educate audiences across North America.”

PastView COO, Casper Smithson, adds:

“We’re thrilled to have Jordan on board. His knowledge of the digitisation and information management landscape, along with his ability to build meaningful partnerships, makes him the perfect person to lead our North American growth. Jordan’s passion for innovation and archives is a great fit for our mission, and we’re looking forward to seeing the impact he’ll make.”

We’re excited to have you on board, Jordan — welcome to the team!
