ARA ANNUAL CONFERENCE: Join us for the live announcement
The TWA Digitisation Grant 2026 is now CLOSED!
After an exciting few weeks, applications for the TWA Digitisation Grant 2026 are now officially closed.
This is a particularly exciting moment, as we move into the next phase of narrowing down this year’s candidates.
All of the fantastic submissions are now in the hands of our expert judging panel, who are about to dive into the part they enjoy most - discovering the incredible heritage collections just waiting for their time to shine.
Our judges, John Chambers, Kathryn Tollervey, Audrey Wilson & Casper Smithson, generously volunteer their time and expertise to carefully score each application and begin the difficult task of refining the shortlist, working their way toward that all-important final list of 10 lucky winners.
The big Winners Announcement will take place at the 2026 ARA Annual Conference on 6th August.
Our Match Funding Pot will open on 7th August, offering eligible applicants the chance to claim up to £1,000 in match funding to put towards their digitisation project.
The ARA Annual Conference 2026 - Glasgow (5th-7th August)
For this year’s annual conference, the ARA will once again be bringing together the archives and heritage sector around the theme of ‘Authenticity’. ARA’s 2026 conference will take place from 5–7th August at the Radisson Blu in Glasgow.
We’re honoured to announce the grant alongside such a great event in the heritage calendar, and to share the exciting news of this year’s TWA Digitisation Grant winners in such excellent company.
But, we also understand that not everyone will be able to make it - so, if you won't be attending, there will also be a live stream of the announcement (details on how to access the live stream on our YouTube channel to follow) so nobody has to miss out on the buzz and the exciting news.
Well done to everyone who applied this year, and wishing you the very best of luck!
